Terms & Conditions

All tour prices listed are in US dollars, per person, based on double occupancy. Prices are guaranteed once your booking is confirmed with either the minimum deposit, or payment in full.

Unless otherwise requested, solo travelers will be paired with a roommate of the same sex. If we are unable to pair you with another tour member for your tour dates, you will be required to purchase a single supplement, which will guarantee you a private room. Single travelers who prefer their own room will simply need to purchase a single supplement at time of booking. See our Paris Tours page for pricing.

Please be advised that Paris hotel accommodations are typically smaller and more basic by North American standards. You will, however, be guaranteed a clean and comfortable room, with its own private bathroom, in a hotel that is centrally located.

A minimum deposit of $400 is required at time of booking to secure your reservation. You may also pay the amount in full at time of reservation. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express via our online shopping cart. When paying a deposit, the balance is due at least 60 days prior to the tour's start date. Failure to pay the balance by the due date will result in your removal from the tour. Reservations made within 60 days of the tour start date must be paid in full at time of booking.

French lessons are non-refundable. If you are unable to take the course for the session dates you registered, please contact us to cancel at least 3 business days in advance to receive a course credit. Your course credit will be good for one year, where you may transfer to another session (subject to availability), or transfer the lessons to someone else. Contact us at tours@voguetranslations.com for more details.

Those who have previously participated in a tour with Vogue Translations are automatically eligible for a $100 discount, when booking another tour with us. Contact us at tours@voguetranslations.com for more details.

Deposits for tour bookings made more than 60 days in advance of the tour start date are fully refundable within two weeks from when the deposit was received.

Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made after the two-week grace period, where the cancelation date is greater than 60 days from the tour start date

Deposits and payments made within 60 days of the tour start date are non-refundable and will be forfeited in the event that you cancel your tour.

To cancel your tour reservation, you must send your request in writing to tours@voguetranslations.com.

We do not provide refunds for flight delays or cancellations, the inability to obtain passports, personal or business problems or emergencies, etc.

In the event that Vogue Translations needs to cancel your tour, you may either transfer to another one of our tours or receive a full refund within two weeks of the tour's cancellation. Vogue Translations will have no further obligations in regards to the canceled tour after the fact.

If for any reason you transfer to another tour that is greater in price, you will be required to pay the difference immediately upon transferring (for tours within 60 days from the start date). For transfers made more than 60 days before the tour start date (where only a deposit has been made), you will be required to pay the difference at the time you pay the balance. If your original tour was already paid for in full, the difference for the new tour will be required at time of transfer. In instances where the new tour costs less than the original (and the original tour was already paid for in full), you will receive a refund for the difference within seven business days.

Vogue Translations reserves the right at any time to remove any person from a tour whose behavior is detrimental to the tour or the overall safety, comfort and well being of the other tour participants.

All itineraries and accommodations are subject to change, should it be deemed necessary. We are not responsible for delays or changes to the itinerary that are caused by weather, strikes, traffic, accidents or other unforeseen circumstances that are beyond our control.

A valid passport is required of all passengers. Please ensure that your passport is valid six months beyond your tour end date.

Visas are not required for U.S. and Canadian Travelers traveling to Europe for a period of three months or less. If you are not a U.S. or Canadian citizen, please refer to http://www.iatatravelcentre.com/ to view visa requirements and other useful travel information.

We strongly urge you to purchase your own travel insurance to cover cancellation coverage, airline tickets, trip delays, lost luggage, personal emergencies, or any potential medical expenses that may arise. Vogue Translations will not assume any responsibility for these items. It is recommended that you secure your travel insurance well in advance, and to purchase it from a reputable company, e.g., your current insurance provider, your credit card company, or an established travel insurance provider, like AAA or Travelex Insurance Services.

Vogue Translations will not be liable for any loss, delays, damages, costs, accident, injury, or damage to any person or property due to the actions or omissions of any person, or any cause, including but not limited to acts of God, strikes, breakdown of equipment, weather, negligence, loss of baggage, or other causes beyond our control.

To participate in any of our tours, you will be required to sign and return a Release and Waiver Agreement, which will be sent to you upon confirmation of your booking. You are expected to be in good mental, physical and emotional condition, as you will spend significant amounts of time on your feet, and, in general, our tours require a great deal of walking. Any pre-existing condition that may inhibit your ability to successfully participate in our tour, must be disclosed prior to traveling with us. Failure to disclose this information may result in your removal from the tour at your own expense.

Please limit your luggage to one suitcase and one carry-on bag, as many Paris hotels have several flights of stairs and/or tiny elevators. Also, upon your arrival and departure you will need to carry your luggage from the bus to the hotel (and vice versa), which might involve a short walk and additional stairs. As a general rule, the lighter the luggage, the better.

No pets or animals are accepted on our tours.

* Please note that by booking your tour with Vogue Translations, you are agreeing to the terms of service above.
